Spae is an ancient Norse form of oracle work beginning with an elaborate and moving ceremony through which I, in the traditional role of Spaekona, enter a deep state of trance, becoming a vessel and channel through which the Holy Powers can speak in response to the client’s questions. This tradition, which has ancient shamanic roots, is referenced in several Norse texts. Spae sessions may be done for single individuals or small groups.
